- Abstract
In this article, the author reflects the importance of multiple-parent families with her prime focus on Family Law Act (FLA) of British Columbia. Topics discussed include role of the FLA in enhancing as well as inhibiting the non-normative parenting relationships, limitations of section 30 of the FLA in ignoring the multiple-parent families and focus of the section 30 of the Act on the benefits of nuclear families. She further states the section meets certain criteria benefiting LGBT family.
