- Abstract
The author reflects on the diverse examples of communication to help inform and shape people's identities as communicators. She points out that a person can learn so much from the experiences of others and from the more-than-human world that he/she tries to make sense of as an ecologists and an environmental scientists. She also highlights the fact that communication models can also be helpful in exploring the complexities of communication, particularly in classroom communities.
