- Abstract
The editorial of the Journal for Public Law discusses the topic of the 46th Austrian International Law Day, which dealt with the Russian aggression against Ukraine. Various contributions are presented, including findings from an OSCE mission on violations of humanitarian law and human rights in the areas occupied by Russia. The legality of the sanctions imposed against Russia is also discussed, as well as the different interpretations of the concept of neutrality in the history of international law. Finally, the value of international law is emphasized, and a positive answer is given to the question of a future rule-based multilateralism.
