- Title
Facts, Information, and the Newly Discovered Record in Pierson v. Post.
- Authors
KRIER, JAMES E.
- Abstract
The author questions whether property professors will find the new facts in the property case Pierson v. Post illuminating. He agrees with the sentiment that people can obtain greater enjoyment and instruction from the study of cases if they discover more about them than is provided by law reports. He says that among other things, the case is about the great issue of first possession as the means of becoming an owner and the majority in the case chose the rule of capture.
