- Abstract
The article discusses three-dimensional learning, a term for a teaching approach in science education that includes disciplinary core ideas, scientific and engineering practices, and crosscutting concepts as outlined by the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Particular attention is given to how teachers can adapt project-based science (PBS) methods to align with three-dimensional learning. The use of technology, collaboration, and artifacts in PBS is also discussed.
