- Abstract
The article discusses on antitrust law in U.S. It states that President Barack Obama's administration proved inactiveness in enforcement of antitrust law which was based on the ideas of neoliberal, free-market thinkers. It mentions that Department of Justice's (DOJ) judgement in AT&T merger challenge would create a precedent for future government interventions in the business sector. But now the President promised to appoint an Antitrust Division head who would adopt a hands-off approach.
