- Abstract
The article presents the response by researchers to comments on their study which claims that anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction performed within 12 months of the index injury is associated with a lower rate of medial meniscus tears. Topics discussed include the controversy surrounding the time to surgery in patients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, studies supporting the findings of the researchers, and the use of the word prevalence in the study rather than incidence.
