- Title
Patellar tendon or quadriceps tendon grafts for ACL reconstruction.
- Authors
Eriksson, Ejnar
- Abstract
The author offers opinions on what grafts are best to use in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Patellar tendon bone-to-bone or hamstring tendon grafts have been the most commonly discussed methods. Quadriceps tendon and allografts have mostly been used in revision surgery, but it has been suggested that quadriceps tendon could also be used in primary reconstructive surgery. The author suggests an in-depth study of the three most popular methods.
