- Abstract
Using bioinformatics methods, ethylene receptor genes in the Volvariella volvacea genome were identified, and then analyzed for expression under 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) treatment by qRT-PCR so as to explore the molecular mechanism underlying the preservation of V. volvacea by 1-MCP. The results showed that five ethylene receptor coding genes, GME317, GME1797, GME2633, GME10790 and GME11734, were identified in the V. volvacea genome. Their corresponding proteins were divided into two groups as follows: GME1797, GME11734 and GME2633 were clustered with homologous ethylene receptor proteins of other plants; GME317 and GME10790 were clustered with the kinase regulated stress response transcription factor skn7 of Pleurotus pulmonarius and P. ostreatus. Both GME1797 and GME11734 were sensitive to 1-MCP and they started to be down-regulated 1 d after 1-MCP treatment. The expression of GME2633 was significantly inhibited 3 d after 1-MCP treatment. The expression of GME10790 and GME317 were significantly inhibited 4 d after 1-MCP treatment.
