- Abstract
The Danubian region of Ukraine is of research interest not only to historians, but also to fine art experts. This territory, also known as Ukrainian Bessarabia, is especially rich in talents which can be easily explained by the integrity of different nations inhabiting the region. Diversity of traditions and customs, folklore and culture has found its reflection in art. The article to be presented is focused on the works of an outstanding contemporary Ukrainian painter and ceramist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 2000), Elena Andreyeva-Sychiova, whose artistic interest lies in a spectrum of themes.
