- Abstract
The article focuses on the aspects of the cancer morality and the shortening of telomeres, an essential part of human cell which is characterized by repeated nucleotides that protect chromosomes. Topics include how shortening occurs through cellular replication which trigger cell death, the implication of lifestyle such as smoking and obesity, and the association between the increased in cancer morality and short telomeres and its correlation to various factors such as age and lifestyle.
