- Abstract
The article focuses on the benefits of higher breast cancer screening costs among older women in the U.S., which was investigated by a study conducted by Killelea and colleagues on digital mammography use between 2001 and 2009. Topics discussed include research's findings on the relationship between digital mammography use and the decline of the diseases among older women and the advantages presented by using a risk-based screening approach among older women.
