- Abstract
The article presents information on a study related to triglyceride-lowering treatment in adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and hypertriglyceridemia and recommends therapeutic lifestyle change (TLC). Topics include non-pharmacological treatment such as dietary modification, weight reduction, and increased physical activity. Other topics include lower use of fibric acid derivatives for preventing pancreatitis from severe hypertriglyceridemia.
