The article discusses the treatment of infection related glomerulonephritis (GN) and management of kidney diseases. Topics discussed include cause of GN infections, drugs pegylated interferon and ribavirin for Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infected patients with chronic kidney disease, and plasmapheresis, rituximab, or cyclophosphamide for HCV and mixed cryoglobulinemia disease with nephrotic proteinuria.
