The article presents the study of the Blackstone Valley and the land dilemma of its Rt. 146 corridor. A discussion of its region being highly diverse in terms of demographic, labor and educational characteristics is provided. The corridor's assets namely, its quality of life, manufacturing legacy, highly trained workforce, location and highway infrastructure, are mentioned.
