- Title
Unnoticed Resonances of Tomb Opening and Transportation of the Remains of the Dead in Ezekiel 37:12-14.
- Authors
Olyan, Saul M.
- Abstract
This article presents an analysis of the opening of the tomb and the transportation of the remains of the dead in the biblical Book of Ezekiel, verses 37:12-14. The author provides an in-depth discussion of the verses which many scholars feel are responses to a saying which is attributed to Judah's dejection in verse 37:11. He notes the use of metaphors in the responses found in verses 37:1-10 and 37:12-14, which the author suggests makes reference to the death of the people.
