The article discusses the comparison in the problems encountered by three Islamic financial institutions including the Kuwait Finance House, the Dar al-Maal al-Islami, and the Islamic Development Bank. Islamic banks have based their operations on the Qur'anic abolition of interest. Details about each of the banks mentioned are reviewed.
