- Abstract
The article discusses how Pope John Paul II was able to deal with the policy of political involvement and the doctrine of the separation of the Church and state. He has traveled to different countries with the message that was a mixture of politics and religion and his views on economy and human progress was treated as political. Religion remains to be the focus of his statements but he has managed to integrate his political views into his preaching on the separation of the Church and state.
