- Abstract
The aim of this study is to reveal the difference of employees' efficiency in the working environment based on the type of their family, by adaptability. The efficiency in the work place has to do with confidence and the willingness of a person to successfully perform an assigned task, focusing on the faith of a person to organize, act and manage upcoming situations. Family adaptability refers to the ability of a family to change its structure, rules of relationships between family members. In this empirical study, data was collected from a total of 150 employees of public institutions in Republic of Macedonia, with average age of 38.93 years. One-Way Anova was applied to determine the difference in efficiency degree according to the type of family adaptability as appropriate, which showed significant difference between the type of rigid, structured, flexible and very flexible families in the degree of efficiency of employees in work place. Pierson Correlation has shown moderate positive direction of efficiency and family adaptability, and other comparisons were conducted on the basis of gender and age of employees at work as moderating variables, where the latter has no significant statistical effect on the relationship of variables.
