- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses a pilot program examining teaching Internet literacy as a strategy for improving the health and well-being of newly arrived refugees and migrants in Australia in 2009. The program was aimed at such individuals who had arrived the country in the past five years. All participants increased their confidence at using the computer and the Internet following the completion of the course. Acculturation stress for migrants and refugees may be reduced by brief training support programs addressing Internet competence.
