- Abstract
The article offers information on the geographic distribution of species including reptiles, amphibians, and snakes found in the valleys of Bolivia. It states that among the species, coral snakes or micrurus serranus are most known with ten species discovered in the interandean dry valleys. It says that specimens were gathered from Santa Cruz and Cochamba department which obtained endemic species of snakes. It mentions the specimen of an adult female snake that was detected under a rock and sandy area on May 17, 2007 in the Torotoro town and was taken to Museo de Historia Natural Alcide in Cochabamba. The specimen featured dorsals and supralabials all over the body which indicated a highest elevation of species based on common habitat and bioclimatic conditions.
