- Abstract
The article presents the case study of a 68-year-old man with persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) who underwent a repeat AF ablation. In this case, since epicardial ablation resulted in local conduction delay epicardially, but not at the same delay endocardially, endocardial conduction gap was suspected. The case shows that both endocardial and epicardial fibers should be abolished to achieve complete mitral isthmus line block.
