- Authors

- Abstract
The article examines the influence of attachment theory to nurses in understanding the challenging behaviour in people with learning disability. According to the author, understanding of attachment theory can help individuals to analyse behaviour as well as in the formulation of treatment approaches. The theory was based on the idea that humans are social animals with a desire for closeness to a key figure who can sustain their feelings of security.
