- Abstract
The article presents the discussion on preschool children with type 1 diabetes (T1D) having access to modern diabetes care can safely achieve a HbA1c. Topics include continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) being the recommended tool for glycemic monitoring in preschoolers with T1D; and onset diabetes being associated with a high lifetime risk of diabetes complications, necessitating optimal glycemic control from onset.
