The article analyzes the behavioral changes in dairy cows before calving procedure by using an acceleration data logger. It states that accurate prediction in calving can help to determine the incidence of dystocia. The study reveals that mean standing duration, the mean lying duration and tail raising during calving can help in predicting the calving time.
