- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the dependence of female Bagg Albino strain (BALB/c) mice to estrogen in their odor preference for male C57BL/6 mice. The study performed Y-maze preference tests with the BALB/c female mice using the urine of C57BL/6 and BALB/c male mice. Study reveals the partial dependence of female on estrogen and the role of estrus cycle stages in the variation of female mice preference for genetically heterogenous male mice.
