- Abstract
The article focuses on the half-life analysis concept of learning curves by using the growth and decay concept of learning in the acquisition environment. It says that half-life is the amount of time for a quantity to diminish half of its original size by natural processes. It defines half-life of a learning curve as the incremental production level required to reduce average cost per unit while half-life of a forgetting curve is the amount of time for performance to decline.
