- Abstract
This article presents a study on the trace elements and ages using uranium-lead (U-Pb) dating in metamorphic zircon and titanite taken from ultrahigh-pressure eclogites in the Dabie orogen in China. Zircon U-Pb dating has been found to be a robust method in constructing an acceptable pressure-temperature-time (P-T-t) path to acquire reliable ages for the multiple metamorphic events of rocks undergoing protracted orogenic processes.
