- Abstract
The article presents a systematic review on the relationship of childhood maltreatments like physical abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect with brain psychopathology symptoms like neurological trauma. Based on the results, people who experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACE) are more likely to suffer brain damage or neurological trauma that impairs cognitive abilities and reactions in normal life than those living a normal life.
