- Abstract
The design of a didactic unit for the teaching-learning of electromagnetic radiation in the 5th year of High School, based on significant critical learning and collaborative work, is presented. It is registered as descriptive research with field design, carried out in four phases: field documentation, representation and analysis of the results, contrasting the theory with the data collected and, finally, the design and presentation of the didactic proposal. To collect the information, a questionnaire was applied to a sample of eight (8) Physics teachers, which had been validated through the judgment of three (3) experts and yielded an index of 0.79 of the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient, very reliable for your application. The results indicate that the majority of teachers have tried both strategies in their pedagogical practice, assuming the elements of empathy, knowledge and innovation, and introducing the elements that are part of the planning in the teaching-learning process of the defined topic, considering that they must be followed so that there is a logical sequence and coherence in the knowledge. However, there are weaknesses in the implementation of these strategies. Based on these results, a didactic unit was designed that will serve to improve the teaching-learning process of Physics, considering that it introduces significant critical learning and collaborative work as strategies to achieve an education of relevance and quality.
