- Abstract
The article discusses the impact of the case Hall Street Associates LLC v. Mattel Inc. on the Standard for Arbitral Review in the U.S. It states that the U.S. Supreme Court has issued its opinion in the case to resolve a circuit split on arbitration law. It adds that the issuance of the opinion, federal courts struggle in addressing of weather judicially created grounds for review were eliminated together. Moreover, the creation of the "manifest disregard" in 1953 is also discussed.
