The article discusses the absolute coverage exclusion clauses of insurance policies related to pollution. It states that insurers deny claims of insured party on the basis that emission of carbon dioxide excludes them from coverage under the absolute exclusions. It offers information on pollution exclusion clauses in policies and history of pollution exclusions. It discusses legal and insurance aspects of absolute carbon dioxide exclusion (AbCDE) in insurance coverage.
