- Title
Child Soldiers and Clicktivism: Justice, Myths, and Prevention.
- Authors
Drumbl, Mark A.
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the issues of child soldiers and clicktivism which were highlighted in the Kony 2012 campaign. He says that campaign, launched by Invisible Children, supports existing theories that develop policy schemes. He explains that the child soldiering image portrayed by the film is focused in Africa. It adds that the film has encouraged the capture of Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) leader Joseph Kony for war crime and enlistment of children.
