- Authors
Thompson, Wyatt; Meyer, Seth; Westhoff, Pat
- Abstract
The article focuses on the mandates concerning the varying prices of different types and vintages of renewable identification numbers (RINs). It says that as long as there is some transaction cost to trading them between fuel blenders using more biofuel than required, RIN prices will be positive. It also discusses the rollover provision used to evaluate how the element of the U.S. energy policy affect RIN markets.
