- Abstract
Mehmed Murad Nakşibendî is the most important "Mesnevihan" in 19th century. In their own time has a respectable place among the dignitaries and dervishes. Mehmed Murad is a figure who greatly contributed to the rapprochement between Nakshi and Mawlawi in his own time. Mehmed Murad taught scientific, religious, literary, mystic lessons. Murad Molla's Dervish Lodge has been described as an Ottoman university. He is sheikh in Murad Molla's Dervish Lodge and the keeper of the books in Murad Molla's Library. Many intellectuals and bureaucrats benefited from these lessons. Mehmed Murad wrote many copyrighted works. His masterpiece is the Hülâsatü'ş-Şürûh named Mesnevi commentary. Mehmed Murad Nakşibendî is one of the extremely benevolent. The Dârü'l-Mesnevi (Mesnevi Reading House) has been opened with the support of Sultan Abdülmecid. Dârü'l-Mesnevi is opened with the participation of Sultan Abdülmecid in Fatih, Istanbul, in 9th Muharram 1261. He has taught Mesnevi in Dârü'l-Mesnevi. He trained many important students and Mesnevihan. Many famous Mesnevihan got Mesnevihan's diploma here. Ahmed Cevdet Paşa, one of the students. He received his diploma from Mehmed Murad Nakşibendî. Mehmed Murad Nakşibendî describes detail of all the Dârü'l-Mesnevi's opening ceremony in the Vekâyi-nâme named work. This is important because this building is the last Dârü'l-Mesnevi in Istanbul.
