- Abstract
The article discusses the potential use of GPT-4, an artificial intelligence (AI) model, as an alternative for discussing complex cases in digital oral radiology. Dental radiographs are important for diagnosing dental issues, but misdiagnosis and underreporting can occur. AI resources, such as GPT-4, have shown promise in overcoming these challenges and improving clinical decision-making. GPT-4 is a chatbot that can interpret images and texts, generating detailed descriptions similar to human language. Studies have demonstrated the accuracy of AI models in diagnosing diseases and reducing evaluation time. However, there are limitations to AI models, such as training time and potential bias. Overall, the combination of digital oral radiology and AI models has the potential to improve early diagnosis and clinical interventions.
