- Abstract
The article reports on the trends of the key indicators of the economic conditions in Canada. It mentions the major factors that lead to a decrease in the real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) including poor performance of goods producing industries, weak export demand and high public expenditure. It further discusses the trends of employment and job creations in different sectors and states of the country. Reportedly, household consumption increased, trade balance worsened and consumer prices rose.
