- Abstract
The article presents a study on the population of Guadalupe fur seals (GFS) (Arctocephalus philippii townsendi) in the Gulf of California as of January 2021. Topics include the population and geographical distribution of the GFSs in Mexico and southern California in the mid-1900s and the listing of the GFSs as protected species under Mexican law and the U.S. Endangered Species Act.
