The article focuses on the rescue to an adult male bottlenose dolphin found at La Paz Cove, Baja California Sur, Mexico on April 19, 2014. Topics discussed include abnormalities observed with the dolphin which include barnacle infestation around oral cavity, absence of snout at the tip of the upper jaw, and traumatic injury suffered by the mammal.
