- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 63-year-old female patient that developed immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) after testing positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Topics discussed include the medical history and symptoms presented by the patient, results of the blood tests, chest computerized tomography (CT) scan, and physical examination performed, and the progressive increase in the platelet level of the patient following intravenous immune globulin.
