- Abstract
The article discusses a research project at Akademie Remscheid, a continuing education institution for teachers, which sought to introduce elementary school-age children to literature through storytelling. The author presents information about the benefits of storytelling in teaching educationally disadvantaged students, a field trial of the project at elementary schools in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and the use of games in education.
