- Abstract
The author reflects on bovine viral diarrhoea virus (BVDV), known as the cause of several clinical conditions resulting in economic losses in cattle. He mentions that the virus causes both transient and persistent infections and can avoid the immune responses of the host during both events. He also mentions the continuing rise of antibody levels as well as the virus' solid immunity.
