- Abstract
The article provides information on the first production of photographs which was featured in the publication "The Mirror of Literature, Amusement, and Instruction."According to the article, the picture was a negative of three stalks of leaves which was done originally by Golding Bird. In addition, it states that the photogenic drawings were contributed by a reader who signed himself through initials. Furthermore, it relates that the "Magazine of Science," have also produced two facsimiles which are said to be the first reproductions of photographs made in a camera.
