- Abstract
[Objective] The study aimed to systematically identify and analyze DBB gene family in rice, and to lay a theoretical foundation for the functional study of DBB family in rice. [Method] Based on the genome-wide data of rice, the chromosome location, physicochemical properties, evolutionary relationships, conserved motifs, cis-regulatory elements and expression patterns of DBB gene family in rice were comprehensively analyzed by bioinformatics methods. [Result] A total of 13 DBB genes were identified from rice, named OSDBBl - OSDBB13, and these OsDBB genes were unevenly distributed on 7 of 12 chromosomes of rice. According to phylogenetic analysis, rice DBB gene family can be divided into four subfamilies: Group I - Group 4, and the number and arrangement of introns and exons of DBB gene in the same subfamily were similar. The 13 OsDBB genes in rice contain 10 conserved motifs, among which Motif 1 was the common conserved motifs of these genes, which is speculated to be related to conserved domain. The promoter sequence of OsDBB gene contained regulatory elements related to growth and development, hormones, stress response, and light response. Different OsDBB genes were expressed differently in different tissues and have certain specificity. [ Conclusion] Rice OsDBB gene plays an important role in plant growth and development and response to abiotic stress.
