Abstract

The article presents a discussion about the Barbershop Initiative™ of Prostate Net, a national organization in the U.S. focused spreading information about the risks of prostate cancer. The initiative will make use of barbershops in African American communities to educate African American men about prostate cancer. it is asserted that the initiative was successful in informing people who were at high risk.
