- Abstract
In recent years, the educational system has faced the challenge of the accelerated integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) into education. This has also had an impact on the emergence and consolidation of new educational models such as Flipped Classroom. This study looks at virtual university teaching, and aims to analyse and compare the implementation and influence of the Flipped Classroom model on two subjects, Mathematics II and Introduction to Finance. To do this, non-face-to-face tasks, and their possible effects on class attendance and performance, are monitored, and student satisfaction is analysed. The results of the descriptive, correlational and results-comparison study show a positive influence of the model on performance and greater follow-up in the higher course subject, Mathematics, whose online class attendance is influenced by viewing, while in Finance it influences study time and there is some resistance. The students value the pedagogical experience positively, regardless of the subject and their academic performance.
