- Abstract
The article presents the revision of the 1999 Consequences for Juvenile Offenders Act in the U.S. The proposed legislation revision establishes modern standardization of accountability for juvenile offenders who are heard within the federal system. Senators emphasize that the said legislation will enable the federal government reduce the rate of juvenile crimes across the country. Under the proposed legislative provision, American states are required to execute preventive precautionary measures to prevent juvenile crimes. The goal of the proposed bill is to protect the right of the offender, health and their safety.
