Title
OPush to end placement poverty.
Abstract
The article reports on the campaign launched by the New South Wales Nurses and Midwives' Association (NSWNMA) to end the unpaid compulsory clinical placements of nursing and midwifery students to prevent student dropouts and provide salaries to them. According to the NSWNMA's Shaye Candish, paid placements will encourage more students to pursue a career in nursing and midwifery.
