- Authors
Takeuchi, Yasuhiro
- Abstract
A literary criticism is presented which critiques the book "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" by Mark Twain with reference to the murder of the father of the character of Huckleberry Finn. It considers the reasons Twain decided to reveal the identity of the murder victim at the end of the book. It reflects on psychologist Sigmund Freud's views on the sense of guilt in the mythological character Oedipus and the character of Hamlet in the play "Hamlet."
