- Abstract
The article discusses several Canada Federal Court of Appeal taxation cases as of April 2012, including the case CIBC World Markets Inc. v. Canada which deals with a taxpayer motion for an enhanced cost award, In re Galway v. MNR which deals with a court's ability to endorse a consent to judgment, and Cohen v. The Queen which deals with an illegal agreement between the Crown and a taxpayer. Compromise agreements on liability for disputed debts are also examined.
